Welcome to From The Library Of

Whether you’re searching for your next great read, reflecting on the reading life, or simply craving the comfort of a bookish community, you’ve found the right place.

The tagline here is simple: for the love of books and the joy of reading. You’ll find thoughtful recommendations, personal reflections, and notes from the desk of a lifelong reader and professional librarian. Part reading journal, part book club, this is a space for anyone who loves to talk about books and add a few more to their ever-growing to-be-read list.

About the Author

Hi, I’m Kellie—a high school librarian with a lifelong passion for books and reading. As a kid, I kept a stack of novels in my closet after long outgrowing my bookcase. Now I have two children who share the same habit, so in our house it’s not unusual to literally stumble over a book.

Books have always been central to my life: they kept me company as an only child, opened doors to new friendships through book clubs, and eventually shaped my career. After twelve years in the classroom, I earned my Master in Library & Information Studies and turned my lifelong hobby into my profession (though, sadly, the job doesn’t include sitting around and reading all day!).

📬 Subscribe and Connect:

More than anything, I hope this newsletter becomes a place of connection—a cozy corner of the internet where readers can gather, share thoughts, and celebrate the joy of stories together. I’d love for you to be part of this community.

If that sounds like your kind of place, I invite you to subscribe and join in the conversation. The more voices around the (virtual) library table, the richer our reading life will be.

Happy Reading!
